“Disco Girl” Poster

Create an impressive “Disco Girl” poster.

1. Open the image you want to use. My advice is try to find something that has a lot of orange or yellow. It will make the effect better.

2. Duplicate the layer and then, with the top layer selected go to Image >> Adjustments >> Channel Mixer. Apply these settings.

3. Good, now hit Ctrl+U (or go to Image >> Adjustments >> Hue/Saturation) and apply these settings:

4. Set the layer opacity to 60%.

5. You should now have something like this:

6. Now be careful. Duplicate the original layer, and move the copy on top(above the layer you’ve just modified in steps 2, 3 and 4). Set the layer’s Blending Mode to Linear Light.

7. Now duplicate the top layer and set the Blending Mode to Color Dodge.

8. Add some details. Here, I’ve placed some shining stars.

9. Add some text, then go to Layer >> Layer Style >> Outer Glow and use these settings:
